Meet the Expert: Tim McAllister, PhD
Dr. Tim McAllister is a Principal Research Scientist at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, with expertise in microbiology, nutrition, biochemistry and beef cattle production. We wanted to get to know Dr. McAllister better, so we asked him a few questions.
What is one interesting fact about yourself?
I am the most-published scientist at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, and a contributor to the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to ride my bicycle with my family.
What are you currently working on?
Greenhouse gas emissions, beef and the environment, forage production and feed nutrition production.
What are you most passionate about related to your area of expertise?
Delivering a clear message that is firmly based on scientific findings.
